RECREATIONAL
Recreational gymnastics is an excellent foundation for competitive teams or other sports. We offer a variety of classes for different ages and abilities.

Troy Gym offers rolling enrollment. Students can join classes at any time during the month and will have the same class schedule until you tell us otherwise. Tuition will be automatically charged on the first of every month.
To drop a class, Troy Gym requires written notification. Send an email to drop@troygym.com seven days before the first of the month to ensure your credit card will not be charged the month's tuition. The email must contain the parent's name, student's name, and the class you will be dropping.
All recreational classes are held in TG1 unless otherwise noted.
GIRLS CLASSES
BEGINNER
Ages 6-7, 8-10, 11+
This entry level class teaches fundamental gymnastics skills on the four girls artistic events (vault, bars, beam, and floor).
No previous gymnastics experience is required.

Focus on gymnastics terms, improved flexibility, safety falls, and proper landing techniques

Increase comfort on equipment and overall confidence
When a gymnast has learned all of the beginner skills, they will receive a ticket to be evaluated for the
Intermediate level.
INTERMEDIATE
Ages 6-7, 8-10, 11+
This class focuses on developing progressions of skills that gymnasts acquired in the previous level on the four girls artistic events (vault, bars, beam, and floor).
Evaluation required.

ADVANCED 1 & 2
Ages 6+
These classes are the highest levels offered in the recreational program. The goal is to challenge each individual through new skills and develop skills acquired in the previous level on the four girls artistic events (vault, bars, beam, and floor).
Evaluation required.

Intermediate and Advanced gymnasts have the opportunity to supplement their Recreational class with our Team Prep program.

BOYS 5-6
Ages 5-6
This class teaches basic skills on parallel bars, rings, pommel horse, floor and more:

COED CLASSES
TUMBLING 1
Ages 5-7, 8+
This 55 minute class teaches basic skills on floor such as rolls, cartwheels, and handstands.
TUMBLING 2
Ages 5+
This 55 minute class teaches skills on the floor such as back walkovers and back handsprings.
Evaluation required.
TUMBLING 3
Ages 5+
This 55 minute class teaches skills on the floor such as roundoff back handsprings and back tucks.
Evaluation required.
TRAMPOLINE & TUMBLING (T&T)
Ages 5+
This 55 minute class utilizes the spring floor, trampoline and double mini trampoline. Beginner, intermediate and advanced options available.
Held in TG3.
