KID'S NIGHT OUT

A few things we are doing to help YOU with check in for Kid's Night Out:
You can come in and check your child into the event starting at 6:15PM. You will need to wait with your child in the lobby until 6:30PM.
Pre-register up until 6PM online, or until 12 Saturday over the phone. We will have staff members checking in by age group off a printed roster starting at 6:15PM.
Update your credit card through the online portal before arrival.
Inviting a friend? Ensure they have an online account with an approved waiver prior to arrival. All participants will need to have an annual $25 registration fee + event fee due to participate.
*If you are bringing friends, they must have their online waiver completed prior to enrollment. There is also an annual $25 registration fee & event fee ($20-gym; $30-gym&ZRC) that is due to participate. Please be sure to communicate this along with the word of mouth to avoid confusion/frustration and for ease with enrollment.
What does a child need to enroll into the KNO + ZRC option?

They must be at least 48” tall. For safety purposes, any child who is not 48” will not be allowed on the course.

All participants must have closed toe athletic shoes and comfortable clothing.

If a child is in the ZRC group and declines to go on the ZRC, there will be no credits/refunds. Due to our new rotations, if children enrolled in ZRC change their mind, they will have to wait in the upstairs mez while others in their group are on the course. Please be sure all participants enrolled have CLEAN tennis shoes, and are 48" tall. These two criteria are required to participant on the course. We will be going on the course after snack at 8PM & 8:30PM.
Notes for Snack Time:
Effective September 2024, we will have a 15 minute window for snack.
Participants can either bring a snack, or purchase (1) ice cream or (1) food item.
This will help increase play time and decrease the time in the snack area.
Please be sure your child has had a nutritious dinner PRIOR to attending the event. When snack time is complete, all snack items will need to be put away.
If your child is going to get a drink/snack from the vending machine, we ask that you assist them with this purchase (cash only; single dollar bills and coins are accepted by our vending machines) before you leave. This will help your child get more time to enjoy their snack and cut down their wait time in line for vending.
Ice cream purchases will be available during snack time only.
Please note: we are unable to make change for vending/ice cream. Please plan accordingly and send your child with quarters or $1 bills.
Children will NOT be allowed to purchase any vending/ice cream outside of snack times, and they will not be allowed to utilize the toy machines without a parent present.

For safety purposes, participants may not have or utilize electronics during the event. If a child needs to call home for any reason during the event, they are welcome to let their coach know and they can call from the office.
Troy Gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please leave valuables at home.
NERF BATTLE
Warning: foam darts will be flying
NERF Battles are taking over Troy Gym on the last Sunday of every month and it’s going to be epic!
-Ages: 5–19 years
-Time: 5:00–7:00 PM
-Cost: $20 per participant
Fast-paced games, tons of movement, and a fun way to burn energy with friends
Participants must bring their own eye protection & Nerf gear

TROY GYM POLICIES
Please note: For all Troy Gym activities, all participants must have a valid waiver associated with that particular activity as well as an annual $25 registration fee.
Waivers, enrollment, and payment are due prior to participation.
Participants must be age appropriate for the activity, as well as fully bathroom independent.
Kid's Night Out is a drop off event.
Parents for both Kid's Night Out & Nerf Battle are welcome to view from the lobby, however, they cannot be on the floor.
KNO Behavior Expectations:
Technology use: we understand, that for safety especially at an evening event, parents may want their child to have their cell phone at the facility. Cell phones must stay in cubbies with their belongings or at the front desk with manager on duty. Your child may not for any reason have their cell phone on the floor or with them during snack. This is for the safety and privacy of other patrons. If after one warning, a child does not follow this policy, their phone will be taken by our manager on duty and will be returned at pick up.
Language, rough housing and respecting others: We want for every person to feel welcome, comfortable and safe at Troy Gym. We know every child plays differently and we do have varying maturity levels. However, we have a strict NO profanity and rough housing policy. We go over this at the start of every event. This is zero tolerance. In addition, we have had kids have things go missing from their cubbies. It is important for kids to be mindful of one another's items. If you are brining items with your child to KNO, such as a phone or money for vending. Please bring it in a backpack so things are not sitting out in the open. There is also zero tolerance for stealing. If a child is using profanity or excessively rough housing, they will be sent home, with no refund. If a child is caught stealing, they will be sent home, with zero refund and they will not be able to return to future Kid's Night Out events, or other events without a parent present.
Leaving groups without permission and not respecting staff: This is especially an issue with our 8-12 year olds. They cannot leave their group for any reason without coach permission and it is only to use the restroom or get a drink of water and they must have a buddy. Children should not be wandering our building. We have had children being disrespectful and talking back to staff when they are correcting this or explaining safety rules. Children at our events should be as respectful to our staff as they are to a teacher at school or any other sports coach. If a child is disrespecting staff continuously, there will be a warning given by the manager on duty and a call home, and the second offense they will be sent home, again without a refund for that evening.
