SAFETY & SECURITY MEASURES

We share our facility with Troy Gym and have the following security measures in place to assure all children will be safe while in attendance at our child care center:

• ID checks for all unfamiliar pick up individuals/visitors

• Video surveillance cameras at main entrance

• Daycare computer kiosk for signing children in/out using a secure, fingerprint scan and/or individual codes

• Locked entrance into daycare and preschool area with individual pass codes that track who enters into the daycare area

• Fingerprint background checks and TB tests on all our teachers and TGPD coaches and any continuous volunteers

• Volunteer screenings and individual background checks on TG employees

• Frequent staff trainings on emergency procedures for crisis situations as well as fire, tornado, and other emergency drills with children

All of our staff are certified in CPR for infants, children and adult, Basic First Aid, Safe Sleep Techniques, Shaken Baby Prevention, at least 3 hours a year on Inclusion and Special Needs training, and additional early childhood trainings to equal 24 hours of training each year.
